I’m just getting back to Europe from a wonderful 7 weeks in South America, more posts on that to come, but in the meantime I couldn’t resist having a post dedicated to the annual heart day, only je t’aime at this time of year!

Speaking of short stories, I’m very excited that the “That’s Paris: An Anthology of Life, Love and Sarcasm in the City of Light,” featuring my short story, “The Glove,” has now been released. Expect some laughter and some tears, which you can now acquire in both print and ebook versions here on Amazon and to sweeten the deal, all benefits go to the charity Room to Read, which supports literacy and gender equality in education. Instead of buying the book online, join us for our fun launch party at the Pure Malt Pub (4, rue Caron, 75004) on February 24th, 6 pm to 9 pm, it should be a lively event, hope to see you there!
The Art of Dating Paris, Where Language Meets Chemistry
One more book connected to this special amour time of year is “The Art of Dating Paris, Where Language Meets Chemistry” by Llyane Stanfield. The Creator and Director of J’Ouellette and Oh la la French lessons, Llyane knows the French language of love and what makes the French and Paris so unique in this respect. This insightful book illustrates how knowing all French helps you become the master of romance. It also shows a parallel between American and French culture, especially the perception of the romance. If you want to learn the language of love, check out Llyane’s book, fittingly launching on February 14th!
If you’re looking for some ideas on where to celebrate February 14th (or any night!) with your chéri/e, check out these two articles on my top romantic bars of the Left Bank and the Right Bank for the new website The Tourist in Paris. Filled with great, useful information for visiting Paris like a local, bookmark this site, I’ll be a regular contributor so look out for more romancing in Paris.
