Lily Heise, the Mademoiselle Romance of Paris, has over 10 years experience guiding in Paris and has lived in the city since 2000. She is a freelance travel writer, the author of two books and has been running her website, Je T’Aime Me Neither, the only site exclusively focused on Romantic Paris, for over 7 years. The area south of Place Pigalle has risen in popularity over the last ten years or so, however, it was also the hub of artistic, cultural and nightlife (in all its forms…) in Paris from the Romantic era through the Belle Epoque.
