Mallorca is ideal for a romantic getaway for many reasons, one of them being the Spanish island’s spectacular natural beauty. An Idyllic Mountain Location
Nestled on the crest of a hill and overlooking a valley of undulating centuries’ old olive groves, tranquility reigns supreme at this finca run by the Vicens family. Removed from the main road, all one hears is the wind rustling through the olive branches and the occasional tinkling of bells from roaming sheep. The finca’s peacefulness is complemented by the jaw-droppingly beautiful views. It’s impossible not to feel at ease in this sublime setting.
A Gorgeous Infinity Pool & Other Excellent Amenities
The finca’s allure is boosted by its luxurious amenities. A particular highlight is the dreamy infinity pool facing out onto the valley, ideal for soaking up the rays on one of the pool terrace’s Balinese sun beds or savoring the spectacular sunsets over a glass of local wine. Behind the pool is a sauna and some of the guest rooms also have Jacuzzi tubs, for further relaxation. Alternatively, there are some hammocks under the olive trees, perfect for catching up on your holiday read or for an afternoon snooze. A stroll around the grounds shaded pathways will take you to some other lovely sitting areas.

Gastronomy & Special Features
The Finca Albellons has a lovely restaurant where creative Mediterranean dishes can be enjoyed on the panoramic terrace. Lunch is a more casual affair, yet dinner is a four-course tasting menu. The ingredients are all fresh and some are straight from the farm like toasted almonds, orange and apricot jam and extra virgin olive oil albellons (these can also be purchased to take with you). The gastronomic delights do not stop there–they also make their way onto the incredible breakfast buffet. I have to say, it’s probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had … in any hotel! Mallorcan cheese and meats, homemade cakes, fresh fruit, high quality breads and made to measure eggs… plus the views of the sun rising over the valley in the distance. There’s no better way to start your day in Mallorca!
If this weren’t enough, the staff was exceptional. As it’s a family business, you can see that they run the finca with love. Speaking of love… you can also commemorated your romantic finca stay in Mallorca by “adopting” one of their ancient olive trees (see last photo above).
As we headed slowly back out the olive tree lined lane, we were sad to leave this magical place, but hope to return for longer in the future. I highly recommend the Finca Albellons and that you stay a few days, switch off, relax and soak up this spectacular place.
