Paris Tours with Lily

Discover Paris with a Real Local Expert

Looking for an in-depth and engaging tour of Paris? I have over 15 years of experience guiding in Paris and have lived in the city since 2000. I’m a freelance travel writer, the author of three books, have contributed to numerous guidebooks on Paris and France, and have been running my award-winning website, Je T’Aime Me Neither, for over 10 years.

I know the city inside and out. Although I specialize in romantic Paris, I also do a lot of “non-romantic” tours and especially love leading tours in Montmartre and the Marais. Discover my tour options below and read more about me here

Romantic Tours

Increase the romance of your couple’s holiday in Paris on one of these specially designed tours! Each one focuses on a different neighborhood, all of which have been chosen for its romantic ambiance and fascinating history. As we travel through quiet streets, we’ll learn the area’s history as well as some intriguing anecdotes on lovers and love stories connected to the places we visit. Each tour involves a short coffee or cocktail stop during which we can discuss other romantic places, cafés, bars and restaurants in Paris that match your personalities which will complement your romantic couples’ getaway in Paris. Lily can also take photos of you during the tour to commemorate your romantic moments!

Here are some examples of my romantic tours:

  • Romancing Along the Seine: Far from cliché the Seine is an ideal place for a romantic stroll! Starting in the historic centre of the city, we’ll travel the quiet promenades along the riverbanks passing some of the city’s most iconic sites, our walk peppered with some fascinating romantic anecdotes through the ages and in film.
  • Montmartre & Its Muses: Montmartre is one of the most legendary neighborhoods of Paris, Montmartre is much more than the area around its huge basilica. We’ll wind our way through la Butte’s backstreets, charming alleys and hidden parks while learning about artists, their muses and how the neighborhood itself is a muse.
  • The Marais, Secret Places & Seductive Stories: One of the most historic districts of the city, the Marais’s narrow streets, secret gardens and gorgeous architecture ooze romance. In fact, the area has its fair share of love stories, intrigues and more!
  • The Sexy Side of South Pigalle (SoPi): The area south of Place Pigalle has risen in popularity over the last ten years or so, however, it was also the hub of artistic, cultural and nightlife (in all its forms…) in Paris from the Romantic era through the Belle Epoque. On the tour we’ll delve into its not so innocent past as well as discover its current-day cocktail and restaurant hotspots.
